(I seek Allah's protection from Satan who is accursed.)

Aaozu billa hi minas shaitaa-nir-rajeem.

Q: Why Do Muslims Commit Suicide?

A: Allah doesn't Muslims. Allah doesn't anybody.

Burden in terms of responsibility

Trial of difficulty

Be Honest

Be Kind to your pain

Humble Yourself

Sabr doesn't mean sit back and pass away

Face the problems, deal with it

People take Sabr in the passive meaning, Quran takes Sabr in the very active meaning

Q: Is Suicide Under any Circumstances Justified in Islam?

A:

If you kill any human beings, you kill all human beings

If you save one human beings, you save all human beings

Parting Farewell Advice of Ramadan - Nouman Ali Khan

When Ramadhaan almost came to the end,
First we should think about the relationship between fasting and "Taqwa"
We may ask ourselves if we really know and get "Taqwa"
The goal of fasting is "Taqwa", to get guidance from Allah Ta'ala
"Taqwa" does not just refer to "fear"
It means self-restraint, guarding oneself from sin, wrong and injustice, from disappointing Allah , making Allah happy.

By fasting itself, we declare Allah's greatness
What you want, and what Allah want
We learn to make Allah in priority rather than ourselves
To appreciate Allah's guidance from the month of Ramadhaan
We become more aware of Allah
Allah will always reply onto our prayers
Keep asking Allah, asking for His guidance, seeking his help

We feel grateful for two things: First is for doing Fasting and for having the Qur'an this beautiful Book.
After we finish Ramadhaan prayer hard training, our training is done
when we go back to normal prayer, we will think the normal prayer is so easy now

When one gets Taqwa, he will find Jinnah in himself.

To plant the seed
When planting in soil, one puts seeds in soil and one doesn't put anything inside
When you have intention you will get the flower
When you don't have intention, how will you get that beautiful flower

My Dad's Shahaada - Abdurraheem Green

Our duty is to convey the message
Our duty is to warn people the reality,
and to bring good news of the beauty of Islam
The peace, the tranquility, the happiness, the joy that Islam brings to us
ALLAH did not ask us to make people Muslim
ALLAH told us to pass those messages
To explain to people in the best way we can
Our job is to plant the seeds
We need to have patience, to have perseverance
It's possible for anybody to become Muslim
We should always have that hope
To help each other to join together in the teaching of truth
To support each other in patience
Thats the recipe for true success

ALLAH is the One who guides
He guides He wills
He knows the best words of guidance
Ask ALLAH help us find a way to say something to people about the beauty of Islam

Hardships: Path to the Most Merciful

(1) Ease comes with the hardship, not after it.

(2) When one still has something such as iman, then he got everything.

(3) Instead of putting full trust on ALLAH, seeking His help,
we start to shift our focus from the One who solves all problems
to the issue itself and we even try to solve the problems by ourselves,
This is our mistake.

(4) Our mistake is we think ALLAH as a professor.
When ALLAH gives us exam,
He wanna us raise our hands to ask for His help and to go back to Him.
He is directing us towards Him.

(5) When we got hit by hardship,
Where do we go first?
Where is our dependence?
From whom we seek help first?
The One who saves us, the One who cures us is Subhan ALLAH

(6) Desperation, our need for Subhan ALLAH, begging Him for help

(7) The reason why we feel heavy when ALLAH sends us hardship is because
we try to work out ourselves.
We don't depend on ALLAH when we got hit by the hardship.

(8) When every other door is closed,
then we only can turn to ALLAH,
seeking His help.
He alone we ask for help.

(9) One can come so much near to ALLAH in the hardship,
it's the best blessing, the mercy from the hardship.
Had that storm never come, one will not taste the closeness to ALLAH.

(10) Even in the ease, we cannot get deceived.
Maybe the hardest test of hardship is not the hardship, but the ease itself.
The test of ease is sometimes more difficult than the test of hardship.

(11) Hardship purifies us, it brings us back to Subhan ALLAH and it humbles us.

(12) If we response correctly to hardship, no hardship is the punishment for us.

(13) Sabr (Patience, endurance) صْبِرْ : Complaining to ALLAH only

(14) Rida (Contentment, satisfaction, inner peace) رضا or رضى  : The highest level in response to hardship.

Here is Yasmin Mogahed's another speech on Hardship: Hardships and the Path to God

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Speaker: Yasmin Mogahed

The Prophet (S.A.W.) said: "If Allah wills good for someone, He subjects them to hardship."
How could that be?
How can hardship ever be good for us?
What is the purpose of trials?
why does Allah promise that we will face trials and tribulation?
In what way does hardship purify and develop us?
When is tribulation a punishment?
When is it a blessing?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(1) When someone beats the rug with a stick,
he is not beating the rug,
his aim is to get rid of the dusts inside of the rug

(2) The purpose of this life is to please Allah Subhan Allah;
needs for body is for temperate this life
but needs for soul will remain eternal

(3) Making our attachment to Allah Subhan Allah;
the five pillars is actually about detachment...
verily it is such a brilliant point when talking about hardship/trial in life,
why does pain and hardship comes to us,
anytime when something new comes to us,
go through it and see Allah behind it...
Allahu akbar is such a powerful word, which means
Allah is above all things all attachments in life...

[Note]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
رضى الله  satisfaction of Allah
رضى الوالدين satisfaction of Parents
في  on
To make Allah satisfied , we have to make our parents satisfied
(rida Allah fi rida Alwalidayn)
To satisfy parents its to satisfy Allah

What are your priorities in life?

Curiosity and desires

‎"Dont even come near it, then you will wrong yourself"

"There are some people who learn from their own mistakes;
smart people will learn from the mistakes of others "

‎"Trust Allah, He will make you a better human beings.
Don let your desire be your guard, let God,
Allah create your desire be your guard.
Obey Him, your life will be stable "

"Allah wants to lessen the burden of you,
but those who are deep in your desire
will lead you astray and make life hard on you.
Allah wants to forgive you,
but thoese who are deep in your desire
wants to turn you away from that.
Allah does not look at the quantity of your action,
but look at its quality "
