Sadaqa Jariyat
It is basically giving charity that will benefit people even after you die. Jariyah means “ever-flowing” , like an endless source of water, Sadaqa is charity. Literally it means “running”, but when applied to water it means ever-flowing. Wherever water flows, life grows. Same goes for knowledge.
The messenger of Allah ﷺ said once: “When a human being dies, all one’s deeds cease, save three: a Sadaqah Jariyah, [religious] knowledge [one leaves behind] from which others benefit, and a righteous child who prays for one” 真主的使者 ﷺ 說：“當一個人死亡時，他的所有行為都會停止，除了三個：Sadaqah Jariyah，一個人留下來使他人受益的宗教知識，以及一個為他祈禱的正直的孩子”
When you die, your wealth and possessions become useless, and your good deeds stop being counted. Except that kind of sadaqa, that keeps adding up for your soul and help make your scale heavier to reach Jannah inshaAllah.
